The trusses are made of 3/16" x 6" U channel and would have been too
heavy and too long to move if I had completed them in my shop at home.
So we opted to cut out all the pieces and weld them together here. I didn't
get the depth of penetration I would have gotten at home using 1/8" rod and
150 amps but I was able to squeeze the setting to 100 amps without blowing the circuit breaker on the generator and using 3/32" rod I got good enough penetration and lots of weld yardage so those trusses aren't going anyplace.

We now have a band. A base fiddle, a 5 string small guitar, a regular
guitar, and a fiddle make up the music. They do songs in the evening
out of their hymnbook and improve with each session. I need to make
a trip to Dan Juan de Dios and pick up some bean rattles, maybe a
small tamborine, and a drum or two for the women to join in.

Next trip entails mounting the trusses and welding the 6" U channel onto
them to support the roof laminar. All the tools  and chain host are there to
do this with and I gave instructions to Tomos to attempt this in my absence
but I don't expect to see any trusses up just as I didn't see any more concrete poured until I returned. There are good workers with lots of guidance but seem unable to solve the simplest of problems.
