Some insight into what is coming down today.
This is insight given by Mark Finley in his  Discoveries in  Prophecy  series. You will find out that not everyone agrees with everybody else. James Lloyd has a  different take at http://www.christianmedianetwork.com/  - click on "Last Days Overview". These are two of the better analysis I have found. But both of these people who have studied prophecy considerably, prove to us that when God wrote it so not all would understand , he wasn't kidding.   You can probably find many other opinions of revelation on the net also. Both of these versions certainly give us much food for thought though.

According to Mark Finley the United States is the second beast (world power, kingdom, political entity) spoken of in the bible in Revelation.  Rev 13:11 "And I beheld another beast coming up",  at the time the Papacy goes into captivity. The United States  started out "coming up" (meaning it was newly organized and just then arising; it was not an established kingdom), as a newborn lamb back in 1776 -1798 with good intentions of political and religious freedom, and separation of church and state, but has been corrupted deeply as it has gained worldwide power and influence  and is now going into the phase of "speaking as a dragon" as prophesied. How ironic that the country that's been the world's foremost fortress of religious liberty becomes the devil's instrument to implement the mark of the beast. Rev 13:12 "And he (the United States) exercises all the power of the first beast (Papal Rome) before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed".

The first beast of Revelation was Papal Rome.  Pagan Rome gave the seat of it's government to Papal Rome in AD538. When Constantine left Rome when the Roman empire was falling apart, he gave his seat to the Pope. The Papal Rome system of religious worship combined politics  with a mixture of pagan customs, names, celebrations, and practices along with the interjection of man's doctrines completely outside of  bible teachings; along with  Christian principles.    The Roman Catholic bible today is made up of "most" of the regular bible, additional teachings and writings not found in the King James bible because authenticity of authorship and veracity of the writings themselves  could not be verified, and a wealth of man's doctrines accumulated over the ages NOT related to scripture at all. Papal Rome became a worldwide system of worship speaking blasphemy as it presumed the powers and perogatives of God and claimed the power to forgive sins; which only God can do; not any church or any person in a church including  priests or the  Pope himself. The Papal beast became a persecuting power and through the middle ages of the inquisition, millions of people were put to death as the Papal power persecuted the people of God and anyone else who refused to worship it. Does this sound like Christianity? The bible said this power would reign for 1260 years (Rev 13:3-5) and then go into captivity. The Pope reigned supreme from AD538 to 1798 when Napolean sent French armies under General Berthier into the city of Rome  and took the Pope captive (the deadly wound inflicted upon the beast) and brought him back to France where he died in captivity.  However, the deadly wound would be healed and we've seen a slow but sure resurgence of the power and influency of the Papacy. Daniel 7:25 states that the beast would "think to change times and laws",  meaning the laws of God.  The Papacy DID change the laws of God by completely removing the second commandment  from the Roman Catholic  bible which tells us not to worship any images or likenesses of anything from heaven above, or anything that is in the earth or in the water below.  The current Papacy promotes worshiping of statues and pictures  of Mary, saints, angels, the Pope himself, and even Jesus; all against the will of Yahweh.   We don't need intercessors to speak to Yahweh or Yahshua. The ONLY acceptable intercessor to Yahweh the Elohim (God himself) is Yahshua the Messiah (his Son); period. The bible tells us in the first commandment that "You shall have no other God's before me".  
First Timothy 2:5 "For there is ONE God and ONE mediator between God and men; the man Christ Jesus".
Do you see Mary or St Peter or St Christopher or an angel  or the Pope mentioned anywhere there?   I don't. 

Try  John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". 

or Mathew 4:10 "Though shalt worship Yahweh thy Elohim, and Him only shalt though serve".

or Acts 4:12 (Speaking of Yahshua); "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name (singular) under  heaven given among men by which we must be saved".

 Don't waste your time praying to anyone else except Yashua or Yahweh direct. Everything else is Satan's handiwork designed to keep you praying to people and objects that don't count except to wrack up demerits in the book of deeds.

Speaking of deceptions; let's address the names Jesus, Christ, and Lord. Hosea 4:6 "My people perish for the lack of knowledge". 

There is only room for a quick summary here; I strongly suggest you read the book ;"Christianity Unmasked"  by Dan Israel, chapters 3 and 4 for the full  understanding of what has happened here. In essence don't call  God "Lord" because it refers to the pagan god Baal, not Yahweh the Elohim which is God's true name.  And don't call Yahshua, Jesus. The name "Jesus" is a complete misnomer designed  to keep you away from the truth and the knowledge of Our father and His Son.  Jesus is a Greek name, a spinoff of the pagan Greek god "esus",which was also a reference to Zeus.  The Greek deity of healing  was Ieusus with another variant of spelling as Iesous.  The letter J is a recent addition to our language; being only about 400-500 years old. It's obvious The Messiah  wasn't  called Jesus during his ministry. The words Lord, Jesus, and Christ relate to different deities in a different culture respectively referring to the pagan god Baal (Lord), the pagan god Zeus (Jesus), and the pagan god Krista or Kristo (Christ); offering you a trinity of confusion instead of  the simplicity, stability, and unity of One. 

 Our Saviour was born of a Hebrew virgin, in a Hebrew town, his stepfather Joseph was Hebrew, he spoke Hebrew, his relatives, next of kin and Apostles were all Hebrew, and he read in Hebrew synagogues from Hebrew scriptures. And we are asked to believe that his name was Greek?   What's wrong with this picture?  The name Jesus is a Greek-Latin hybrid; wrong culture, wrong roots.  His true Hebrew name, Yahshua and his title "Messiah", gives specific and definite recognition of the One who sent him; Yahweh Elohim.  The Father's name is Yahweh.  The name of his only begotten Son is Yahshua; a compound word meaning "Yahweh saves" or "Yahweh is salvation".  His name actually identifies his purpose. Yahshua was the messenger, and Yah Shua is the message.  There is no harmony between Yahweh and Jesus; the harmony only exists between Yahweh and Yahshua. The name matters in the book of deeds; get it right.

The Third Commandment: What does it mean?
Many take the third commandment to mean that we should not curse Yahweh's name. It certainly does mean this. However it also means that we should not replace His name with a substitute such as "the Lord"

Deut 5:11 (av) Thou shalt not take the name of Yahweh thy Elohim in vain <7723>: for Yahweh will not hold [him] guiltless that taketh his name in vain 

The number after the word "vain" in this passage refers to Strong's word #7723 in the Hebrew Lexicon. This Hebrew word is "Shav" which means desolating, vain, vanity, or falsehood. Now let us look here in these same ten commandments where we will find this same Hebrew word but it is translated differently:

Deut 5:20 (av) Neither shalt thou bear false <7723> witness against thy neighbour.

"Thou shalt not falsify the name of Yahweh thy Elohim: for Yahweh will not hold (him) guiltless that falsifies His name"

The US is in big trouble and we all know it. Madelaine O Harra's successful campaign to completely eliminate God from our school system as well as other public meeting places was a slap in the face to Yahweh.  Daniel 12:1 warns that just before Yahshua  returns; there shall be a "time of trouble such as never was"; like economic depression, international terrorism, nuclear war, widespread famine or other natural disasters (like Planet X coming spring of 2003??? - see www.detailshere.com/niburu.htm )  Voices will cry out, "We've got to get back to God; let's make this a Christian nation".  The bible predicts that Protestant America will reach across the ocean and join hands with the Papacy.  They will join forces in a coalition; a power bloc the likes of which you have never seen before.   The Pope will rise to incredible prominence and America will lend it's support to Catholicism and the Pope will become the leading spiritual leader of both Protestants and Catholics.  The result will be an unholy alliance that compromises truth right here in the United states.  Rev 13:14-15 speaks about this second beast (the United States) making an image to the beast (first beast - Papal Rome).  This image would be just like the the Papal power whose deadly wound was healed.  The Image of the beast, will be a replica, a repeat performance of what the world suffered centuries ago during the dark ages.  The powers to be  will band together and pass laws (like the 911 Patriot Act???) forcing people to do by civil power what the church has failed to do by persuasive preaching and teaching - to change men's hearts under the influence of Yahweh's Holy Spirit. The tragedy is, our nation will "speak like a dragon  (Satan IS the dragon) and adopt tactics of force and coercion used by the first beast, tactics resurrected from the dark ages and condemned by Yahweh who never uses force.  The strong arm of the State will be employed by the Church to accomplish her own ends.   Rev 13:12 says "that the second beast (the United States)  will exercise the same power as the first beast before him"; which was dictatorial, very intolerant, condemning and denying not only freedom of religion but even freedom of thought.  It persecuted any and all who disagreed with it's dogmatic teachings and used the police power of the state  to carry out it's commands and enforce its edicts.   Our rulers have become corrupt and our people careless.  Let's look at the sequence of events in prophesy.
1. Antichrist revealed.
2. Mark of the Beast.
3. Abomination of Desolation in Jerusalem (when antichrist claims to be God in Jerusalem)
4. 144,000 Jews flee.
5. Worst tribulation of all the ages on remaining Israel - we are Israel, not just those people in Israel proper.
6. First Resurrection of the righteous dead & Rapture of the Saints (the righteous living who make it through the Tribulation)
7. The Day of the LORD/ Day of Wrath (7 Vials or plagues of God's Wrath) Many sources say this comes before the end of Tribulation as the culmination of Tribulation and therefore before the rapture. 
8. Second Coming of Jesus / Armageddon / Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
9. Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ
 
In order to get back to God, soon the Papal power of pagan Rome ( we now see that the old wound of Papal Rome, the first beast, has been healed)  will be incorporated with the civil power of the US and it won't be long after that before we see the antichrist  named and the mark of the beast required (have you been paying attention to what's happening with the microchip implants lately).  Look for the antichrist next; he may already be here but we just don't know his name yet.  The Mark of the Beast would be received IN their right hand, or IN their foreheads.  (The newer NIV bible versions use the word ON, but the original King James version like is at www.justbible.com  - a whole bible you can read online - uses IN  This is an important distinction because the microship implants that contain all your personal information and is used to track you via satellites won't go ON your hand but IN it. ) The hand symbolizes power and force.  When the beast power says,"You either comply or you go to jail; you can't buy or sell without the mark. We'll kill you if we have to." People will reach out their hand and take the mark just as we do a traffic ticket we don't deserve; which many think is the computer chip which contains your history, all pertinent information about you, and will track your every move and is now starting to be implanted in people.  Receiving the mark in the hand means succumbing to pressure and coercion that force you to go along with the beast.  Receiving the mark in the forehead is NOT getting some stamp branded on your forehead. This is symbolic language and deals with the mind.  It is associated with the mind's power to choose. Advocates for the beast and his mark will try to convince us intellectually with the most powerful arguments that all this is for our own good.  I am already receiving e-mails applauding all the things the microchip implant will do for us. Come and get one!  This is all part of Satan's mindset; to get men and women to accept the antichrist and the beast power mentally.  This is all much closer than you think.  It's all part of a grand delusion, to get people united under the auspices of the Pope of Rome; to get this nation to repudiate all it's principles of religious liberty, and to get constitutional amendments passed that will trample the rights of the minority who cannot conscientiously go along with the majority. Revelation 13 clearly outlines the above sequence of events.  Notice what's taking place in the world today besides the United States becoming a police state with the 911 Patriot Act and establishment  of the Homeland Security office and the actions of FEMA.  Please read my chemtrail, tunnels, and FEMA links at the top of this page - it is happening NOW; we will see this in our lifetime. 

Many theologians revere the proper Sabbath as God's seal.  We're acknowledging him as creator when we come to worship on the right day and follow his law to rest.  The church claims they can exalt tradition above scripture and changing the Sabbath to Sunday, as they did,  was their "mark of authority", along with other changes they made such as removing the second commandment completely from their bible and misleading people to pray to statues and pictures. Many theologians feel that the mark of the beast will not be stamped or enforced until church and state unite to enforce it by law  and threat of death and indeed the Papal Sunday will be the mark of the best. Observing the proper Sabbath (Saturday - actually dusk Friday evening to dusk Saturday evening) is a choice of masters. It's the central issue in the final crisis, a test of loyalty at the end time. All around the world there is a coming together of people, the unifying of religions. The new world order is behind schedule; it was supposed to be IN PLACE by the year 2000.   Go to the conspiracy link at the top of this page or   here   to see tons of sites telling you about the new world order's objectives. What's taking place is no more than an exact fullfillment of prophesies described in Revelation 13.   We will soon accept the traditions of men instead of the commandments of God.  There's a great movement today towards dropping denominational differences.  The Pope is emerging as the unifier of religions, a dominant political player on the world scene.   Religious legislation in America WILL be passed, fulfilling prophesy.  The goal is to have everyone unite - to have us all get back to God. Worshipping on Sunday is the unifying vehicle to do that and it will be enforced by legislative decree; even though Yahweh tells us Saturday, not Sunday, is the day to rest and worship.   Those that don't go along with the program will be persecuted. What was once the 'land of the free and the home of the brave" will become a regimented land of religious intolerance.   You see, the Sabbath/Sunday issue is more than merely a day of worship issue.   The issue is the commandments of Yahweh versus the man-made union of church and state which will use threats and force on others to ensure compliance with man's doctrines.  The issue is one of loyalty, obedience, and allegiance to Yahweh. And if you don't obey Yahweh, just who are you obedient to?   That's right; the dragon himself.

There's only ONE boat to heaven folks; and it occurs after or in the later part of the Tribulation when things get really ugly for those of us holding out  to keep Yahweh's commandments and have chosen NOT to take the mark of the beast or go along with the antichrist's program.  The only boat to heaven occurs after tribulation during the resurrection of the righteous dead and the rapture of the righteous living which immediately follows the resurrection of the righteous dead on the same day.  THERE IS NO PRETRIBULATION RAPTURE!!!! Contrary to the teaching of Left Behind, nowhere the Bible suggests that many unbelieving Jews and Gentiles will be given a second chance and be converted during the final tribulation. On the contrary, Revelation repeatedly affirms that those who experience the final plagues "did not repent of their deeds" (Rev 16:11; 16:9).

The notion of a second chance given to those who are left behind at Christ's coming is totally foreign to Scripture. Salvation is offered in Scripture to every human being only during this present life prior to Christ's Return. Christ comes "not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him" (Heb
9:28). His coming results in the reward of eternal life to the saved and the punishment of eternal destruction to the unsaved. Those who have been left behind will experience, not a second chance, but what Scripture calls "the second death" of eternal annihilation in the lake of fire (Rev 20:14).

Third, Left Behind postulates the conversion of many unbelievers during the tribulation - a teaching which is foreign to the Bible. Repeatedly Revelation affirms that those who experience the final plagues "did not repent of their deeds" (Rev 16:11; 16:9). There will be no second chance for those who are left behind at Christ's coming, because the purifying fire of His presence will consume all sinners and vestiges of sin: "The heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the
works that are upon it will be burned up" (2 Pet 3:10).

Those who were baptised and believe in their hearts that Yahshua died on the cross for their sins, and who "do the will of the Father" by keeping his commandments will be marked on their foreheads by God's angels and spared the plagues of God's Wrath.   rev 9:4. 

Is Baptism a requirement to go to heaven? (See John 3:5).
" I am telling you the truth," replied Jesus,"that no one can enter the Kingdom of Heaven without being born of water and the spirit".  Baptism demonstrates true repentance. Such repentance is a turning to believe, follow, and obey the Lord Jesus Christ, and is the only kind of repentance that will save us. A repentance which refuses the command to be baptised in water is unknown in the Bible. To mentally assent to the claims of the Lord Jesus Christ, but refuse to obey His words is mock repentance which will not save anyone. True repentance must lead a person to the waters of baptism. Thus we see the saving importance of a believer's baptism. In baptism we identify ourselves with the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. Jesus died, bearing our sins and paying the penalty for them in Himself. He was buried, taking our old life into the tomb with Him. He was raised from the dead, that He might give to us by the power of God, His new life, a supernatural resurrection life of peace and joy and victory over all that previously bound us.
Colossians 2:12   Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Our Christian Hope rests not on the fiction of believers suddenly vanishing away into thin air before the final tribulation, but on God's promise to protect His people when His divine wrath will fall upon the wicked. As the ancient Israelites enjoyed God's protection during the ten plagues (Ex 11:7), so God's people will be protected in the final crisis. We have nothing to fear for the future, if we have sealed our commitment to the Lord and the truths He has revealed us. We can look forward with confidence to the glorious day when Christ shall come to gather the redeemed from every nation, kindred, tongue and people and to create "new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells" (2 Pet 3:13).

How do you know the real Yahshua from the antichrist as the antichrist will perform miracles and claim to be God in the first 3 1/2 years of the 7 year tribulation period (actually many consider the Tribulation to be the bad half or just 3 1/2 years following the antichrist's declaration that he is God and things get nasty).   The antichrist is on earth.  Yahshua never comes down to earth during the rapture; we meet him in the clouds and he takes us to heaven. We see him in the clouds and we hear him in the clouds, but he never comes to step foot on earth at that time.   That's how you know the difference.  Plus the devil does not have the power to resurrect the righteous dead at that point in time. The only other resurrection is of the wicked who are resurrected and  judged  at the end of the thousand years.  There's only one boat to heaven and you best be making plans to be on it if that's where you want to go.

The majority of people will conform to the antichrist and take the mark of the beast rather than not be able to buy or sell or have any kind of a life or be threatened with the death penalty over their heads. But what will it profit you if you gain the whole world but lose your soul?   Those that take the mark of the beast will lose their soul.
 
Rev 14: 9-12   And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If any man worship the beast and his image"  (meaning the United States and Papal Rome), "and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand," (some bibles say ON instead of IN but the Original King James Versions as found at www.justbibles.com  say IN - it becomes important when we consider the microchip implant going under the skin as maybe being the Mark spoken of here)  "The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God," (the 7 vials or plagues of God's Wrath which follow the rapture you won't be on if you take the mark of the beast) " which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and WHOSOEVER RECEIVETH THE MARK of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."

To lose your soul is to be lost throughout all eternity.  Those who take the mark of the beast belong to Satan; they will never; I repeat NEVER, be allowed to go to heaven.  The truth matters when the book of deeds is opened or your name cannot be found in the book of life.

The beast power of the United States is becoming  dictatorial just like the Papal Rome beast power in earlier times; enacting oppressive laws which it is already doing and becoming a persecuting power; which it is already doing also. It truly is "speaking like the dragon" (Satan).  Awareness of what is going on, knowledge of the timeline of events as they unfold, and a commitment to Yahweh to uphold his commandments through thick or thin will require perserverance, determination and much faith. Pray only to Yahshua and Yahweh and know for a fact in your own heart that Yahshua died on the cross for your sins, because we can't get to heaven on our deeds alone.  We can only get there  via the grace and salvation of Yahshua.  When judgement  comes and Yahshua stands next to you and tells his Father that His deeds and perfect life have been substituted in the book  for your sinful life by his death on the cross; only then can you appreciate the grace and salvation Yahshua gives us as his gift.   And there's only one of the two resurrections that takes the  righteous dead to heaven; the first one, immediately after the Tribulation period.   The righteous living are raptured at that point in time also.  The second resurrection at the end of the thousand years is a resurrection of the wicked only, a resurrection of damnation. Why then, you ask, should I follow Yahweh's commandments if I am going to sin anyway and my deeds alone aren't going to get me through the pearly gates as long as I believe Yahshua died for my sins?  I should be able to scoot in on grace alone, right? I wondered that myself for a long time.   Here's the answer. 

The only way to go with Yahshua to heaven on the first resurrection or rapture is to surrender your heart to him; now. The only way to go with him THEN is to give your life to him NOW.  It is true that BEFORE the Day of the Lord, anyone who calls upon Him will be saved.  NOW is the day of salvation, NOW is the acceptable time.  Probation has not closed.  The door of mercy is still open.  But when He comes, probation has closed.  Judgement has been decided and the righteous (those who have called up Him) have been cleared.  When He comes, those who are not saved have only weeping and gnashing of teeth.  Jeshua, in Matt. 7:21 is merely addressing a class of people who have CLAIMED to be His own; who have gone forth in ministry in His name, but have really been only self-serving and proud. 

If you cling to sin, fooling around with it, playing with it; lying little lies, stealing little things, sneaking looks at porno, lusting after someone elses' mate, NOT making Saturdays your Sabbath, praying to Mary or the saints instead of Yashua or Yahweh direct,  -  if you turn your back on what you know to be right (and the holy spirit ALWAYS tells you when you are doing something that isn't right) you will be consumed at the second coming of Yahshua; because sin is a part of you and he is going to consume sin with his fiery presence.   At the end there is no second chance, no second opportunity.  There's only one time when the righteous dead and the righteous living go to heaven. And at the same time the rest of the people who didn't get to go,  on earth are killed by his fiery presence. Only the devil and his demons are left on the earth to roam a desolated earth for the next thousand years. 

Mathew 7:21  "Not everyone who says to me "Lord" "Lord", will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven".   There's more to it than just saying "Lord, Lord;  I believe".   It's only "he who does the will of my Father in heaven"  that get to go.   You need to believe in your heart that Yahshua DID die on the cross for your salvation AND you need to do the will of the Father to the best of your ability. What is the will of the Father?    Duh!!  Keeping the ten commandments.   Keep praying to Mary and the saints and the Pope  instead of Yahweh and Yahshua and prepare yourself for the 7 plagues because you won't be marked by God to not receive them and you won't get  raptured.  Keep going to church on Sundays instead of making Saturday your day of rest and worship.   Keep thinking you ought to get baptized with a full water submersion but never get around to it.   Keep saying you believe in Yahshua but never tell anyone else to spread the good news.  Pass the beggar on the street with lots of change in your pocket and go spend it on an icecream instead of giving some of it to the beggar.  Watch the woman two cars down struggling to get a big package into her car and just keep going on about your business because you don't want to take the time to help her.  Keep letting something else be more important in your life and you will be lost; for eternity .  True belief is followed by action.  

It is like putting your finger in a flame.  If you have truly put it in the flame, you will pull it back out.  In a hurry, too.  By the same token, if you have truly let Yeshua indwell in your life, by His Spirit, there will be a developing relationship with Him through the Word, Prayer and sharing of your faith.  As the things of God increase in your life, the things of the world decrease, and you are led to do His will.  If His will is not manifest in the life, there is a problem with the "conversion."  The Spirit leads to repentance and if there is no repentance, that means there is no Spirit.  But one must realize that there can be an outward show of conformity to His will.  Human effort can do a lot, and can fool other humans, but not God.  The Pharisees were the kings of this kind of thing.  So, there can be a form of godliness but a denial of the Power.  In other words, there can be outward conformity, but its impetus is human, not Divine, and its motive is self-aggrandizement, self praise and pride, or a seeking of salvation by ones own works.  On the one ditch of error you have this calamity, AKA LEGALISM and in the other ditch you have the train wreck AKA "cheap grace," where supposedly the LAW was nailed to the cross (false interpretation) and there is supposedly no obligation to obey the law in all ten points.  The real issue in cheap grace theology, however, is only the seventh day Sabbath, or the fourth commandment.  They espouse adherence to the other nine, whole-heartedly - which is a mistake as Yahweh says if you break one, you break them all . (Well, except for the Catholics, who need to hang on to their graven images. . .they had to tinker with the ten commandments a little further than the protestant-false-prophets by not only eliminating the second commandment but changing the fourth from Saturday to Sunday). 

Well, if you don't end up in heaven what's the alternative?   Is hell really real??   See  hell is real   for two schools of thought  on that issue.
